Saudi police have arrested two Pakistani expats for peddling pornographic material in Saudi Arabia.
The two Pakistanis, based in Jeddah, had turned their laundry shop into a place to sell decoders for pornographic satellite channels, police said.
“The two Pakistanis were using the laundry shop in Bani Malik district as a cover for their dirty work,” the police said about the arrests on Wednesday.
They added that the two were also selling devices to decipher computers, Arabnews reported.
The police did not identify the two Pakistani nationals but said they cracked down on the laundry shop after receiving information about their activities and noticing a large number of power sockets in the shop.
According to Saudi police, the two Pakistanis have regular customers who pay them monthly subscriptions to watch pornographic films.
