BE2C2 Report — Top fashion designers from India and Pakistan are all set to unveil bilateral chapter by showcasing where fashion industry is headed to in both neighboring countries.
Their latest work will hit the catwalk in Ramadan Souk at Jumeira Emirates Tower in Dubai.
By bringing fashion and shopping connoisseurs together for the first time from India and Pakistan under one roof, it would be an experience of individuality with creativity and fresh cohesive collections by the designers from both sides of the border, wrote the Gulf Times.
To be held tomorrow, the joint venture between Ensemble Dubai, the largest multi-brand store in Dubai and SoPritti – the exhibition is the requisite shopping terminus for women this summer to clutch the designer outfit they’ve been keeping an eye on for quite some time now.
SoPritti Events curates South Asia’s greatest fashion designers.
With over 70 topnotch designers from Pakistan and India under one roof, the show will feature clothes, shoes, accessories alongside menswear for all, specially the 3 million strong South Asian community — their largest ensemble in the world, and by all accounts having the highest disposal income.
Expats like attending exhibitions because they can find different designers under one roof. “It’s easier for them to shop at these shows than during their visits back home as they invariably have social commitments and are pressed for time,” said Manisha Kumar, founder of WOW Marketing which hosted the recent Numaish lifestyle exhibition in Dubai, reported Gulf News.
The Souk will feature latest collections by HSY, Deepak Perwani, Zainab Chottani, Nomi Ansari, Faraz Manan, Adnan Pardesy, Sania Maskatiya, Nida Azwer, Rina Dhaka, Tarun Tahiliani, Rabha’s by Ekta, Rabbani Rakha, Rozina Munib, Elan, The Pink Tree Company, Mahgul, Rimple and Harpreet Narula, Pallavi Puri, Rhea Pillai, Narmita Mehta and others.
