The directives come just a day after Nawaz refused the medical treatment citing the PTI’s government disdainful attempt of making his health a “political matter”.

On Thursday, Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Mr. Mujibur Rehman Shami and 2 Professors of Cardiology (PIC & KE) met the former premier in Kotlakhpat Jail. According to a source, the cardiologists were of the opinion that Mr. Sharif’s disease has worsened and he requires hospitalization for cardiac cath and possible intervention.
