AUG 10: An exclusive video clipping released today by Hazb-e-Haal of Dunya TV, shows ex-President Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf singing alongwith with Ustad Hamid Ali Khan a popular ghazal at a private musical evening somewhere in Pakistan.

A few weeks back reports were made public for the first time after his stepping down, that he was also quite adept in playing and enjoying playing the Tabla. A news report released from London some weeks back said the general had played Tabla at a private musical program after he felt the Table Wala was out of sync with the rest of the musical band.

Musharraf is said to be on a cruise and upon his return plans to stay in London until he completes his lecture tours of Europe and USA in which news reports tell of his receiving about $150,000 to $250,000 per lecture.

Meanwhile his critics and opponents still mull over possible treason trial against him. PM Gilani threw a curve ball in the assembly the other day agreeing to proceeding with his trial if and when the parliament unanimously passed a resolution demanding his trial. That’s not gonna happen, say many observers while political pundits say such a move by PM means the PPP govt consider it a hot potato and per NRO deal is unwilling to take up the matter.
