ISLAMABAD : Interior Minister Rehman Malik categorically ruled out presence of the notorious Blackwater in Pakistan, the alleged US underworld terrorist organization, offering he would step down if Blackwater is existed elsewhere in the country.
“I will tender resignation if the presence of Blackwater is found anywhere in the country. There is no evidence of Blackwater activities,” the interior minister expressed these views after attending a high-level meeting here Saturday.
It may be recalled that the meeting was held to evaluate the efforts for release of Dr. Aafia Siddiqui who is in US custody in connection of unfound charges.
